Andrea - Secretary

Meet Andrea, a Durham Community Clinic secretary, who has been with Ontario Shores for over 20 years. She has worked in a variety of departments including Transportation, Forensics, and the Centralized Staffing and Scheduling Office. She is now a key member of the team supporting the DCC. Andrea continues #RisingUp because she knows she has an impact on the patients with whom she works. She understands she is a part of something bigger than herself and is inspired by her incredible coworkers. She was especially inspired when she reflects on the recent snowstorm and saw community staff working hard to continue to provide support and care to patients by delivering medications, performing wellness checks, and so on, although most of the community was shut down by the snow. Andrea notes it is incredibly inspiring to know that her teams were able to reach everyone they needed to, even though most people were unable to drive down the street, and exemplifies the commitment and passion that the DCC teams possess, and for that she is grateful.
