Whitby Students Raise Money for Ontario Shores

Father Leo Austin StudentsStudents at Father Leo J. Austin Catholic Secondary School held a mental health awareness evening on November 17 that featured a fashion show and speakers from the Durham T.A.M.I. Coalition with a goal of raising awareness of mental illness and money for Ontario Shores Foundation for Mental Health.

Student leaders: Christina Conforti, Laura Fillmore, Alyssa Deck and Therese McPherson organized a fashion show with support from Principal Mike Bak, teachers and parents.  Students and community members were invited to attend.  The event raised $1000 for Ontario Shores Foundation for Mental Health.  If you or someone you know would like to host an event to support Ontario Shores,
