Ontario Shores Welcomes new Board Chair

Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences (Ontario Shores) is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Nettleton to Chair of the Board of Directors.

Mr. Nettleton has been a Board Member at Ontario Shores since 2008 and has served as chair of the Board’s Finance and Quality Committee since 2009. Mr. Nettleton is a Partner with Stevenson Kellogg. He is a Certified Management Consultant with more than 25 years of experience in mobilizing and managing change, process innovation and information technology.  He has extensive experience with public and not-for-profit organizations in Ontario, particularly in the health, social service, education and municipal sectors, as well as manufacturing industries.

Mr. Nettleton is a passionate community leader with voluntary service spanning more than 30 years. He has long-term experience with several agency and advisory boards and associated committees. He also administers the self-help community SPALS.com, which has supported thousands of bereaved families since 1995.

Ontario Shores is also pleased to welcome the following new board members:

Michael Boyce: Mr. Boyce has over 30 years experience working in health insurance claims and risk management. He is Vice-President, Claims for the HIROC Group. He is a member of various committees with the Canadian Patient Safety Institute and has an MBA from Queen’s University.

Scott Dudgeon: Mr. Dudgeon is a seasoned healthcare executive and is currently an Independent Health Policy Consultant. He has held leadership positions at the Alzheimer Society of Canada, Toronto District Health Council and Humber Memorial Hospital.
