Board Member
Michael Nettleton holds long term commitments with organizations and causes that build community and resilience. A seasoned board leader, he served on the Board of Ontario Shores from 2008 to 2017 and as Chair from 2011 to 2014. Michael recently rejoined the Board of Knox College, and has complementary experience with multiple boards, as well as with the former Board of the Central East LHIN. An innovator in peer support in the online commons, for nearly two decades he administered the self-help community SPALS.com, supporting thousands of bereaved families.
Michael is a Certified Management Consultant with a career of experience in mobilizing and managing change, process innovation and information technology. He brings extensive leadership experience from public and not-for-profit organizations in Ontario, particularly with health, education, and specialized public organizations, as well as broad-based manufacturing, technology and business services enterprises.
