Ontario Shores Grounds Ontario Shores a Greening Health Care Award Recipient

Ontario Shores energy savings efforts were recognized with the Greening Health Care Award in 2015. Greening Health Care is the largest program of its kind in North America, helping hospitals work together to lower their energy costs, raise their environmental performance, and contribute to the health and well-being of their communities.

This award recognizes health care organizations that achieved a 5 per cent or greater energy savings over the previous baseline year, which in our case is 2011, the last time we won this award. Ontario Shores saw an overall 6.5% reduction in total energy consumption, the majority of which was achieved in 2015.
