Vocational Rehabilitation Services

Employment Services

Vocational Rehabilitation Services utilizes the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model to support competitive, community-based employment for individuals. IPS is an evidence-based approach that supports individuals with mental illness to obtain and maintain employment.  IPS specialists work with individuals soon after entering the program to find work.  The goal of the program is for each individual to work as independently as possible and transition off the IPS caseload once the individual is comfortable and successful.  (Becker, et al., 2019)
