Library Services Document Delivery

Library Services Document Delivery

What is it?
Loansome Doc is the National Library of Medicine's interlibrary loan and referral system and allows users to order documents found within PubMed ( from participating libraries. We've found that signing up for Loansome Doc accounts provides our unaffiliated users with the most flexibility when using interlibrary loan and document delivery service.

When in PubMed, users can order articles from a list of retrieved citations just by clicking on a box next to articles they wish to order.

How does the service work?
Once you establish an agreement with our library, any items that you order through PubMed will be routed to our library to either fill from our collection or have filled from another library on your behalf. Loansome Doc service is based on the Medline database only.
