High School Co-op Programs

Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences (Ontario Shores) is committed to providing a supportive environment for students, where they can grow, learn and achieve their goals. We take pride in educating future healthcare professionals and watching our students evolve into active members of interprofessional treatment teams. We welcome and encourage students to join Ontario Shores as they work towards completing their education.

Ontario Shores accepts a limited number of high school students for semester-long co-op placements. Contact the co-op facilitator at your school if you are interested in a placement at Ontario Shores.

My co-op on PRB has been an amazing learning experience. The staff are so wonderful. It will be hard to say goodbye, but it will not be for long. I plan to come back to volunteer, work, or hopefully in the future intern here as a psychology student

My co-op placement was a valuable learning experience. I learned what it takes to run a conference centre and art gallery, and was also involved in helping out with movie nights and matinees and the Lets Talk speaker series for the community.
