The Dual Diagnosis Outreach program at Ontario Shores provides assessment and psychiatric consultation to individuals with an intellectual developmental disorder and mental health disorder and/or challenging behaviour.
Outreach services include a comprehensive assessment and psychiatric consultation. Direction with connecting with community resources may also be provided.
For ages 18 +
Individuals between 18-65 years of age must be medically stable and present with an intellectual disability (IQ below 70, diagnosed prior to age 18) and a serious mental health illness and/or associated behavioural difficulties
Referrals are accepted from physicians and psychiatrists. Documented proof of intellectual disability may be required.
