Ontario Shores in the Community

We welcome opportunities to participate in community events such as Whitby County Town Carnival, Doors Open, local mental health awareness events and more. If you would like Ontario Shores to participate in your event, please contact the Communications and Public Affairs Department at 905.430.4001.

Patients in the Community

Community reintegration is a part of the recovery process.  As patients progress through their treatment they spend time on the grounds or in the community.  This process is carefully reviewed and monitored by the treatment team.  Interaction with the community encourages further development of life skills and socialization and helps patients re-establish connections in a community setting.
