Michael Dewson, Board Member at Ontario Shores Centre for Mental  Health Sciences (Ontario Shores), has served in academic leadership roles for 25 years at Laurentian University and Ryerson University. Most recently as Vice-Provost, Faculty Affairs at Ryerson University, he guided faculty labour relations in a unionized environment within a rapidly evolving organization. Mr. Dewson also headed Ryerson’s successful United Way Leadership Campaign for a number of years.

Currently, Mr. Dewson is Chair of the Advisory Committee at Regent Park Centre for Learning and served as Board Chair of the Centre for Community Learning and Development. He is also a member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario and a Professor of Psychology at Ryerson University.
