On June 9, 2017, Karim Mamdani, President and CEO, Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences (Ontario Shores) announced that the organization has successfully achieved ‘Accredited with Exemplary Standing’ status from Accreditation Canada, the highest designation attainable.
Accreditation of Exemplary Standing is awarded to an organization that attains the highest level of performance, achieving excellence in meeting the requirements of the accreditation program.
Accreditation Canada’s Qmentum is an accreditation program that was introduced in 2008 to incorporate the latest research and evidence and feedback from clients, surveyors, board members and staff in defining priorities that include performance, risk prevention planning, client safety, performance measurement, and governance.
